WWE's Trick Williams Describes Life On The Road With His Wife, Lash Legend

Trick Williams and Lash Legend started their relationship on the grounds of the WWE Performance Center. Now, they're traveling the world as members of the "WWE SmackDown" brand.

During a recent interview with "The Tap Out Tea," Williams opened up about his experience on the road with Legend, whom he married earlier this summer in Jamaica. "That's my best friend, my support system," he said. "You can see, from my career standpoint, the trajectory of Trick Williams just go up and up the more that me and her actually began to connect, get closer, get to learn each other, different things like that. I don't think it's a coincidence at all.

"When I first told her like, 'Hey, I want to be me and you, let's do this,' she said, 'Okay, you need to put on 30 pounds.' That's what she told me the first day. I said 'How you going to tell me what I need to do? I ain't going to tell you what you need to do.' But the truth is, she was right, though. That 30 pounds might be the difference between me being a guy on the roster and me looking like the heavyweight champion one day."

While Legend has helped Williams blossom into his current form, a two-time WWE United States Champion, he has made a conscious effort to return the favor. Williams noted that he tries to respectfully push her, while also supplying her with mental and emotional support. That way, she and him can thrive on WWE's main roster together.

Legend currently finds herself in a tag team with "The Irresistible Force" Nia Jax on WWE's blue brand. Williams, meanwhile, recently regained the United States Championship by defeating Baron Corbin at WWE Sunday Night's Main Event.
