Nattie Says Death Of AEW's Andy Williams Reminded Her Of Owen Hart

WWE's Nattie has spoken about the sad death of former AEW star Andy "The Butcher" Williams and remembered the emotional distress her family went through after Owen Hart's passing. 

Nattie said in her interview with the "Toronto Sun" that she was touched to see the posts put up by her peers in the pro wrestling business about Williams, which highlighted what a nice person he was. The WWE star also compared his death to that of her uncle, Owen Hart, recalling the emotions that she and her family experienced following his passing.

"You get stopped in your tracks when you hear about something as shocking as, you know, one of our fellow wrestlers. And that's the thing about the wrestling community. There is a big, huge wrestling community out there that, when something like this happens, it doesn't matter where you work, we all come together," she began. "When Owen passed away, it was so hard. I'll never forget it, it was just a very hard moment for our family. It was the hardest thing that we've ever gone through, and it leaves you with deep, you know, it leaves you with very just deep scars. It's very traumatic. So I thought about his family, and I thought, like, man, like, everybody is just coming together with these beautiful messages, remembering him, honoring him, but those are scars that, you know, they never go away."

The veteran star's message from such tragic events is to treat those around us with kindness and respect.

"The best thing that we can all do is just treat each other with kindness and respect and grace, you know, no matter where you work or who you work for, or even if you've had conflicts with people," she added.

Various personalities in pro wrestling have spoken glowingly about Williams, with the likes of Matt Hardy and Cody Rhodes praising his personality and describing him as a genuinely nice person.
