Vince Russo Parts Ways With Juggalo Championship Wrestling

Vince Russo has announced his departure from Juggalo Championship Wrestling, where he was an investor and an on-screen authority figure. 

Russo explained on social media his absence from JCW shows, stating that he was unhappy with certain things in the promotion, which led to his exit. Despite his displeasure, he said that his departure was on good terms.

"To my BELOVED Supporters, Over the past few weeks I have received many e-mails, dms and text messages concerning my status with @jcwlunacy. For those of you who know me, you know I don't hide from the truth, I don't avoid the truth and I certainly don't lie about the truth. The reason for my silence was that . . . I just didn't know. I just needed some time. I'd been unhappy for a while in
@jcwlunacy and I'm not going to deny that. Something had to change. Without getting into specifics, there were a lot of reasons with the biggest one being that at 65 . . . I'm not the same guy I was 30 years ago. Things have changed, life has changed and more importantly . . . I've changed. A short while ago I had a phone conversation with Violent J and we have amicably agreed to part ways," said Russo.

The former WWE and WCW writer continued by stating that he was originally meant to be a part of the promotion for a few months, but his run eventually lasted for a year. He thanked JCW and founder Violent J for his time with the promotion and said that it's time for him to take a break. 

Russo's JCW run was his first involvement with a wrestling promotion in several years, having last worked with Aro Lucha years ago.
