Former WWE Star Apollo Crews Offers Update On Wrestling Future

Former WWE star Apollo Crews, now known as Uhaa Nation, has taken a few bookings, including a match at TNA Slammiversary 2026, following his WWE release after WrestleMania 42, but he's in no hurry to jump fully back into the world of professional wrestling. He spoke on "Insight with Chris Van Vliet" about his wrestling future, where he revealed he wants to find his passion for the business again. Even though wrestling isn't the main focus of his life right now, that doesn't mean he wouldn't go back to WWE if given the chance.

"People say, 'I would never go back,' I would definitely go back," he said. "[WWE is] the pinnacle, right? It's what a lot of us strive to get to... Even if it was AEW or TNA, I feel that I would love to be a part of a wrestling company where I could wrestle on TNA. Being on TV, performing on TV, and performing in front of a large amount of people like that, there's nothing like it... It's not something I'm saying is done completely, but at this moment, I am focused on other things and making sure that when it's all said and done, I have something to do when wrestling's done."

Crews said that right now he's enjoying time with his family and finding other passions, as wrestling doesn't last forever for anyone. He mentioned that when he started working in "WWE NXT," his style as an athlete and wrestler changed all together, after being critiqued by coaches, and he'd like to once again find the confidence and "killer instinct" that got him signed in the first place.
