Will Ospreay's victory over Kenny Omega at AEW All In London 2026 for the AEW World Championship is already considered by many to be one of the best matches in the company's history, and was the crowning achievement of Ospreay's career by becoming the first Englishman to win a world title on home soil. However, one person who disagrees with literally all of that is the man who believes he is still the AEW World Champion, MJF.

During a recent interview with Lyric Swinton of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, MJF asked Swinton if she was still on the fence about his greatness now that he is a three-time AEW World Champion, to which Swinton admitted she wasn't the biggest fan of MJF's first run with the title, or his match with Adam Cole at AEW All In London 2023. This prompted MJF to not only disagree with Swinton on her opinion, but give his own opinion on the most recent Wembley main event. "[His match was the] Greatest main event of all time, it's the greatest main event of all time. I mean I'm going to be honest, that Ospreay/Kenny match was very underwhelming, very underwhelming but that's just me."

The "Salt of the Earth" did recently top the PWI 500 list for the first time so he has had some success during his time off. He did suffer a knee injury during his third reign with the world title and many expected him to take time off earlier, but he wrestled through the injury to make sure he made it to Wembley Stadium. Regardless of which main event people prefer, one thing no one can take away from MJF is that his match took place in front of the biggest crowd in AEW history.
