WWE's AJ Styles Makes In-Ring Appearance Alongside Son Avery Styles At Indie Show

Ahead of his in-ring debut at TNA Bound for Glory, Avery Styles is preparing by wrestling matches on the indies. On Sunday, he challenged "Mr. Dragongate" Tristan Moody for the GWC Junior Championship.

Following the match, Styles was attacked by the Palmetto Boys. During the beatdown, the music for his dad, the legendary AJ Styles hit. Styles cleaned house before helping his son to his feet. He spoke to him as Avery put his arm around his shoulder.

The younger Styles has kept busy wrestling matches for GCW, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, and ETU. He officially signed with TNA at Lockdown. On October 11, Avery will compete in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match. He's been training with Frankie Kazarian to prepare.

AJ retired at the Royal Rumble in January after a match against GUNTHER. In August, he announced he was a coach at the Performance Center. Last month, his "The Phenomenally Retro Podcast" came to an end.
