The WWE Hall Of Fame is usually reserved for stars who have retired from professional wrestling, but according to former WWE writer Brian "Road Dogg" James, there's one active performer who deserves to be inducted immediately.

On Sunday, James took to social media to argue that eight-time Intercontinental Champion The Miz should be included in the WWE Hall Of Fame class of 2027, along with his former D-Generation X partner, Chyna.

"Miz and @ChynaJoanLaurer for @WWE HOF next year. Mike is a 100% going in, why put it off."

Last month, The Miz celebrated his 20-year anniversary as a WWE star, and at the age of 45, he's continued to be a regularly featured star on the company's weekly programming. In his two decades under the WWE umbrella, The Miz has won 21 championships. In addition to being an eight-time Intercontinental Champion, The Miz has captured two world titles and has won tag team gold on nine different occasions.

Above all, The Miz is widely considered as one of the most respected wrestlers today, and he'll always be remembered for his ability to be one of WWE's most reliable workers. That said, The Miz's rise to the top wasn't easy, as it's well-known that he endured hazing during the early stages of his career, and eventually impressed his peers by finding success despite being rejected by the locker room.

Despite being in the latter years of his career, The Miz hasn't outlined when he plans to retire, but shared this past January that he'll walk way from professional wrestling if he feels that he no longer can deliver in the ring.
