Only a few days remain until WWE Money in the Bank takes over New Orleans, Louisiana, and the big question on everyone's mind is who will emerge with the briefcase in both the Men's and Women's Money in the Bank matches. At the moment, it appears there are two creative favorites for both matches. Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful reports that those favorites are none other than Penta and Bron Breakker for the Men's match, and Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend for the Women's match.

While Penta, who has previously been described as a "heavy favorite" to win MITB, and Breakker appear to be the clear cut choices in the Men's match, there may be one other name in consideration. Another source said that WWE previously was looking at WWE United States Champion Trick Williams to win the match; it's unclear how far back those plans go and whether WWE is still considering Williams as a winner. No other potential favorites were listed for the Women's match besides Perez and Legend.

Regarding CM Punk or Kevin Owens' chances in the Men's match, neither are considered likely to win the contract, in part because of their ongoing storyline with Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn on "SmackDown." Those close to the situation believe WWE is looking to keep as many challenges available for Zayn as possible, with Punk and Owens already considered top challengers to the title. To that end, there is some belief that whoever wins the Men's Money in the Bank match may become, or remain, a fixture on "SmackDown," as the winner could be added to the "SmackDown" title picture to "juice up the storyline."
