On the October 8 episode of "TNA Impact," Moose issued an open challenge to the entire wrestling world for a match at TNA Bound For Glory 2026, which takes place this Sunday. Moose wanted to showcase why he's still one of the biggest stars in TNA by taking out anyone who dared step up to him on October 11, and as fate would have it, a former AEW star has answered the call.

At Bound For Glory, Moose will go one-on-one with former AEW World Tag Team Champion and former member of The Acclaimed, Max Caster.

Caster recently became a free agent after his contract with AEW expired at the start of October, though he hadn't been featured on television throughout the entirety of 2026. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion has remained active this year by wrestling across a variety of independent promotions, such as Mystery Wrestling, House of Glory, and Beyond Wrestling. To get himself ready for the match, Caster even got back in the music studio to release a short diss track directed at Moose ahead of this Sunday.

It's currently unclear whether Caster has signed a full-time contract with TNA, though he would be able to sign one since he let his AEW contract expire, meaning that he wouldn't have a non-compete clause preventing him from working elsewhere on a regular basis. The same applies to his former tag team partner Anthony Bowens as he also let his contract with AEW expire on the same day as Caster, though at the time of writing, there has been no indication that he will also be TNA bound in the near future. The two men left AEW as former World Tag Team and World Trios Champions, with the latter of those belts being held alongside "Daddy A**" Billy Gunn.
