AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin Ascends Mont Blanc: 'Nice To Be In The Mountains Again'
Just when you thought Darby Allin scratched his itch to climb some of the tallest mountains on Earth like he did last year at Mount Everest, and was done, think again.
Still craving more, the now three-time TNT Champion recently conquered Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. On his Instagram Stories, Allin posted a picture from the mountain saying, "Nice to be in the mountains again." It's interesting to note that Mont-Blanc ("White Mountain") is the highest mountain in the Alps and in Western Europe, rising to 15,772 feet on the border between France and Italy.
Prior to checking off another groundbreaking feat on his personal bucket list, Allin held another hard fought TNT title defense where he rose victorious against "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher at "AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam France" on Wednesday. This week marks the second title defense he's had since securing the championship at All In: London against then champion, Kevin Knight.
As previously mentioned, Allin, along with his mother and brother, pushed their limits to ascend Mount Everest on May 18, 2025. Though he faced exhaustion, oxygen shortages, and psychological distress, Allin proudly planted the AEW flag at the top of the mountain, making him the first professional wrestler in the entire industry to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
