WWE Reveals First Footage Of Micro-Drama Agent Of Shadows, Starring Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre has been on a roll in several movie and short-form series roles as of late. As part of WWE and ReelShort's newest project, "The Scottish Warrior" will play the lead role as Adam Hawk in the upcoming micro-drama, "The Agent of Shadows," premiering on Friday, October 23. The full trailer for it was shown publicly for the first time during the "Money in the Bank Countdown Show" on Saturday.
"Agent of Shadows" follows Hawk, who's earned his stripes as the world's most dangerous secret agent. Though he's used to taking on assignments that usually don't affect him personally, this new assignment will hit close to home, as Hawk has to protect his estranged daughter from a dangerous man from the criminal underworld named Raymond Strauss. Portraying a nanny, Hawk must use his new undercover role to keep his daughter safe.
McIntyre won't be the only recognizable face in the show, as other WWE Superstars, including Royce Keys, Jacob Fatu, Joe Hendry, Michael Hayes, Booker T, Nikkita Lyons, Hank Walker, and Tank Ledger will be featured in it too.
The last time McIntyre was seen in the ring was at this year's WrestleMania 42, where he took a major loss to Fatu in their Unsanctioned match. Outside of the squared circle, the former three-time Undisputed Champion has been busy on set in Hollywood, working alongside Russell Crowe in "The Last Druid," which is set to be released in June 2027, and the "Highlander" reboot, which is also projected to come out sometime in 2027.
