Adam Copeland became one of WWE's homegrown stars during the Attitude Era, going on to have incredible success as Edge and eventually becoming a WWE Hall of Famer after being forced to retire (and later un-retiring). Since 2023, however, Copeland has been signed to AEW, where he has continued his career, won titles, and had an opportunity to realize some childhood dreams.

"At this stage of my career, this deep into it, to still have things to go after I think is kind of what keeps you young," Copeland said during an interview on "Daily Faceoff," after being asked about his recent appearance in Maple Leaf Pro. Copeland grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and he's often stated that he watched his first live match at Maple Leaf Gardens. "Getting to perform in these venues that I never thought could happen, especially when I was retired."

Copeland has notably posted his venue bucket list on social media for the past few years, but added that upon returning to WWE in 2020, he seriously doubted that he'd ever get the opportunity to perform in these venues, which included Arena Mexico, Wembley, or the Tokyo Dome. "Moving to AEW, then suddenly that became a possibility and now, within one calendar month, to be able to check off Arena Mexico, to be able to check off Wembley Stadium, and now to be able to do Maple Leaf Gardens? That, for me, is just amazing."

The veteran further expressed that these experiences are what have been keeping him "lit up" on his current run, and while he continues ticking off venues from his list, he still finds the experience mind-blowing.
