AEW Reveals Date And Location For ROH Final Battle 2026

As the end of the calendar year approaches, so is Ring of Honor's biggest event of the year, Final Battle. ROH's signature December event has become a staple of the wrestling calendar since 2002, and this year, it will be taking place in San Antonio, Texas.

While there has been no official announcement from All Elite Wrestling at the time of writing, the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio has started advertising that ROH Final Battle 2026 will take place on Friday, December 4. Tickets will go on sale on October 16 at 11AM ET, 10AM CT, with a pending announcement of the event from AEW expected in the coming days.

Typically with AEW's schedule, the venue that hosts Final Battle will often host an episode of "AEW Collision" the following day, which in this case is Saturday, December 5, a date that has not yet been listed on AEW's official website. AEW will already be in Texas that week as the December 2 episode of "AEW Dynamite" will take place in Laredo, before the entire roster heads south of the border to Mexico for the Winter is Coming TV specials in Monterrey.

Since Tony Khan purchased Ring of Honor back in 2022, Final Battle has played host to some very memorable moments. In that same year, FTR and The Briscoes rounded out their trilogy of ROH World Tag Team Championship matches with a brutal Double Dog Collar match, while Athena dethroned Mercedes Martinez to become the ROH Women's World Champion. Athena has since headlined every Final Battle event, defending her title against her protégé Billie Starkz on two occasions, while also defeating Persephone at last year's event. If Athena keeps hold of her title through Final Battle until the end of the year, she will become the first champion in ROH history to hold any title for four consecutive years.
