The post-Bound for Glory episode of "TNA Impact" saw a significant increase in viewership and ratings, with viewership reaching a two-month high.

The October 15 episode of "Impact," which took place in Dothan, Alabama, saw a huge jump in average viewership, rising from 214,000 the previous week to 252,000, as per "Wrestlenomics." It was good news for TNA even in the 18-49 key demographic ratings, as it rose from 0.03 for the Bound for Glory go-home show of "Impact" to 0.05. That rating matches the highest "Impact" has recorded since the aforementioned July 23 episode, which also drew a 0.05 rating. The October 15 episode of "Impact" saw the Hardys serve as the show's storyline bookers, with the duo interacting with new X-Division Champion Amazing Red and new TNA World Champion Leon Slater, who learned the identity of his next opponent during the show. That turned out to be Trey Miguel, who won a five-way #1 Contenders Ladder match. The episode also saw the Hardys defeat AJ Francis and Expressions in a tag team match, while former world champion Nic Nemeth picked up a win over his brother, Ryan Nemeth.
