World Tag Team Championship Match Made Official For WWE Crown Jewel

Following an altercation on "WWE Raw," Je'Von Evans and Penta will challenge The Vision for the WWE World Tag Titles at Crown Jewel.

In the opening match, Evans challenged Sami Zayn for the WWE Championship. Penta came down during the match with his briefcase, but before he could attempt to cash in, he was attacked by Bron Breakker. After Zayn retained, he left the ring to allow Breakker to beat down Evans. Penta attempted to save Evans, but Bronson Reed landed a Tsunami on Evans before landing one on Penta.

Backstage, Evans told Adam Pearce that it's not done. Penta pleaded with Pearce to let them have a shot at the tag titles. Pearce responded, "How about Crown Jewel?" When Penta replied "Perfect", Pearce made the match official.

Two title matches have already been announced. Women's Champion Chelsea Green will challenge Women's World Champion Liv Morgan for the women's Crown Jewel Championship. World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will challenge Men's Champion Sami Zayn for the men's equivalent. During "SmackDown," it was announced that Cody Rhodes will face Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match.

This will be the first time The Vision has defended the titles since winning them on the July 7 episode of "Raw."
