Kit Wilson Explains Benefits Of Working With The Miz In WWE
Earlier this year, Kit Wilson established himself as a solo act in WWE after his Pretty Deadly tag team partner Elton Prince suffered a serious injury. Wilson was soon paired with The Miz, who he claims has helped his progress in WWE.
"The Miz has taught me so many things. He's taught me them by telling me these lessons, by teaching these lessons, but he also leads by example," Wilson said during an interview on the "Battleground Podcast." "One of the biggest things he's taught me is just to be prepared for anything at any moment."
According to Wilson, the duo has had to adapt to last minute changes to their booking since being paired. He also recalled how Miz planned to make a statement at WrestleMania after they weren't booked for the PLE by interrupting John Cena. "He grabbed me, and he said: 'Let's do it. Let's make a moment.' You know, I wasn't scheduled for that, I didn't have any WrestleMania plans, but The Miz makes things happen!"
Though it was likely less impromptu than Wilson implied, he and The Miz did confront Cena and Danhausen at this year's WWE WrestleMania 42. In the end, Cena and Danhausen got the better of the duo, with both Wilson and The Miz on the receiving end of low-blows from Danhausen and his Mini-Hausens.
Wilson has been less active on WWE's main TV shows in recent months, though he has still wrestled at live events and on "Main Event."
