Lil Yachty is thoroughly enjoying his time in WWE and has detailed how it differs from his regular job in the music industry.

Yachty, a longtime WWE fan, began appearing in WWE storylines earlier this year alongside Trick Williams. The rapper, who has also wrestled, spoke about the contrasting nature of WWE and the music business, explaining how WWE's goal is to keep the audience hooked and make them tune in the following week.

"It's so much different [to music]. It's so much more militant [that] you [have] got to be in WWE. This is like my show. I call the shots. I make the rules. I do whatever I want. WWE is time, it's cameras, it's edit, it's edit, it's producers. It's so different," he explained to "Complex News." "You just don't have the leeway you have [in music]. I can go up there and talk sh*t and f*** up, man. Like, you got X amount of time, and you got to make everything count, and you got to captivate that audience. You don't see them again till next Friday. You got a real small time in your segment to get your point across, your message across, and be remembered for six more days until next Friday, and hope that you captivated them so good that, Friday, in six days, you're back on TV again."

The rapper said that WWE requires a lot of discipline. He ended by expressing his love for WWE and said that he would give up his music career if he could become a full-time wrestler.

The rapper has continued to appear on WWE television, as recently as the latest "WWE SmackDown," interfering in the match between Williams and Sami Zayn. Yachty will likely appear on WWE television more often in the future as he has signed a deal with the promotion and even expressed interest in facing Williams one day.
