Indi Hartwell Talks Potential TNA Storyline With Samuel Shaw, Fka WWE's Dexter Lumis
One of WWE's most successful "weddings" in recent memory was that of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis on the September 15, 2021 edition of "WWE NXT." The couple's storyline romance and wedding charmed fans in the WWE Performance Center, but the storyline fizzled out upon the first release of Lumis in 2022.
The stars are now both working in TNA, and Lumis is now known as Samuel Shaw alongside his former Wyatt Sicks stablemate Joseph Sawyer, the former Joe Gacy. Hartwell recently spoke with Joey Karni and said she would be open to reuniting with her former kayfabe husband in the future.
"I think it's something that a lot of people want to see," Hartwell said. "Anytime I'm at a signing or a convention or a show, someone will bring up how they loved InDex. Even years later, it's something that is always brought up. And honestly for me, it's probably the most fun I've had in my career and I'm so proud of that storyline. We're both open to doing something again because I feel like we never really got closure on it. It's still open. I'm interested in doing more with that."
Shaw and Sawyer are continuing their horror-themed gimmick of the Wyatt Sicks, keeping things going as "Syx" in TNA. As for Hartwell potentially joining them, she's also open to that, but believes she'll have to bring something different to the faction.
"I feel like the Syx are pretty spooky and I'm not very spooky," she said. "Maybe I would bring more of a real aspect to it, I guess."
