Real American Freestyle, the promotion founded in part by WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff and the late Hulk Hogan in 2025, announced a major acquisition on social media on Thursday. RAF took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal it has acquired World of Wrestling.

With the World of Wrestling procurement, RAF acquired the Tulsa Nationals, Reno Worlds, and the Kickoff Classic. The tournament are three of the most notable tournaments for young, amateur wrestlers in the country, something the promotion highlighted in its social media announcement.

"If you grew up wrestling, you know what these tournaments mean," the post reads. "The road trips with your family. The nerves before your first match. The trophy you still have. The Roller family built something that generations of wrestlers carry with them. We're excited to work alongside them and build on what makes these tournaments so special."

The promotion has yet to announce what the acquisition will mean for the future of the tournament going forward. RAF's next event will be held in Abu Dhabi on November 14. The main event will see a championship match between the UAE's Khamzat Chimaev and the United States' Colby Covington.

Bischoff and Hogan announced the formation of Real American Freestyle in April 2025, and Bischoff is the chief media officer of the promotion. Hogan was helping promote RAF's launch, prior to his death at the age of 71 on July 24. RAF's first event was held in Cleveland, Ohio the following month.
