WWE's Chad Gable Comments On IC Title Loss, Reveals Favorite Match With Jason Jordan
Chad Gable has been on the run of his career since returning from injury at the 2026 Royal Rumble, from his mask vs. mask match against El Grande Americano, to his Intercontinental Championship victory at WWE SummerSlam. His success hit a road block, however, when he was dethroned by Ethan Page on the November 2 edition of "WWE Raw."
Gable took to Instagram in a Q&A video on Friday, and addressed the loss to Page. He explained to fans that he had just wrapped up a workout and was on day four or five of his current WWE road trip.
"Besides losing my Intercontinental Championship, it's been an incredible trip," he said. "But we will address that. We will get that back and taken care of. You have my word."
The star addressed a few fan questions, including what advice he'd give to wrestlers just starting out. He said his first piece of advice occurs outside of the ring. Gable said to first figure out who you are as a human, then question how that quality translates to the ring.
Gable also spoke about his favorite tag team match with former partner Jason Jordan. The pair teamed for around two years and won the NXT Tag Team Championships, as well as the SmackDown tag titles.
"There was a night in Blackpool, England where the crowd applied a... football [chant] to my name," he said. "They did it endlessly, on loop, to this chant that we had never heard before, before the bell even rang. It was one of those magical nights. The arena was awesome and just the atmosphere, it was something we had just never felt. I think Jason and I both felt like we just took like a massive leap forward that night in terms of just chemistry and connecting with the crowd."
