Becky Lynch & Finn Balor Name Their Favorite WWE Opponents

Becky Lynch and Finn Balor, two of Ireland's most popular WWE stars, have revealed their favorite opponents from their respective wrestling careers.

Balor and Lynch are regarded as two of the best in the ring of their generation, while they have also come face-to-face with other top stars. In their recent appearance on Nina Drama's Kick channel during a Zuffa Boxing show, the duo named their favorite opponents. Lynch's reply to the question was a quick one, naming two former world champions, Bianca Belair and Asuka, as her favorites.

"Bianca Belair and Asuka. I love both of them," she added.

Lynch and Belair have had a few clashes, with their most memorable one coming at WrestleMania 38, where the latter won the world title, while Lynch and Asuka have wrestled each other numerous times.

Balor's picks were a mix of stars he had faced earlier in his WWE career, to someone he faced very recently at a PLE. The former WWE Universal Champion's choices for his favorite opponents were his recent opponent GUNTHER, and former WWE star Samoa Joe, who currently wrestles in AEW.

"My favourite opponents, Samoa Joe would be one of them. Who else? GUNTHER, who I stepped in the ring with recently at SummerSlam, who's someone I respect incredibly in and outside of the ring, and probably one of the top performers in the business and someone who I'd love to perform against," said Balor.

The WWE star had recently faced GUNTHER, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens at SummerSlam, where Owens emerged victorious and became the #1 contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Balor and GUNTHER's previous clash was also a multi-man match back at Saturday Night's Main Event in 2024, where the match also included Damian Priest and GUNTHER won.
