WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green has recalled the final moments before she won the title at SummerSlam, and the thoughts running through her head before she won it.

Green climbed the ladder to become interim champion at SummerSlam, in what was a surprise win as she was dangling from the ladder for a large portion of the match. She spoke on "Insight" about those final few minutes in the match, saying that holding on to the ladder was beginning to cause her some pain.

"So, I was laying upside down. And first of all, if you watch really close, I'm very, like, ever so slightly trying to shift my weight from toe to toe 'cause my toes are the only thing that's keeping me there. My legs are cramping. The backs of my hamstrings are on fire because they're pressed up against the metal. And I'm like, 'Okay, just release this toe and like hold on this.' And then I'm like, 'Oh my god, then another one.' And I'm like, I can't move because if I move it, it gives it all away," she recalled.

Green noted that every move she made while she was upside down was strategic, as she was hoping to catch the fans off guard and have her triumphant moment. She remembered feeling a rumble when the fans started to realize that she could be closing in on a win, which was a memorable moment for her.

"And I'm laying there and I'm looking up at the Tron, and I see that Jade and Charlotte take the final bump, and I'm like, 'Okay, this is it.' They'll either know or I'll sit up and they'll know. But I was still upside down and I felt a rumble. And the minute that I started turning my head and looking around, it was like I felt everyone stand up and it gave me chills," Green added.

Green said that she never dreamed she could have such a moment and is grateful to have had it.
