AEW Collision Viewership & Ratings Report: 9/5/2026

Wrestling ratings have been slow to come by over the last little bit, though that changed early this week when viewership numbers for "TNA Impact," "WWE SmackDown," and "AEW Collision" from the week of September 1 were all finally accounted for. For TNA, it was business as usual, while "SmackDown" saw some decent week over week increases. As for "Collision," it was somewhere in between "Impact" and "SmackDown." Wrestlenomics and SpoilerTV report that the September 5 edition of AEW's Saturday night show drew 349K total viewers, and 0.06 in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

There was not much change week over week for "Collision," which was up a slight 2% in overall viewership in comparison to their August 29 episode, while 18-49 stood pat from that week. The story was largely the same against the four week average, with 18-49 holding form, while total viewership dipped 11% from 392K.

The story of "Collision" continues to be year over year, especially with total viewership. Compared to Q3 2025 and September 2025 numbers, "Collision" finds itself up a strong 33% and 34% respectively. The numbers aren't so good year to year for 18-49, which is down 14% from Q3 2025's 0.07. Against the numbers from September 2025, however, "Collision's" rating held firm at 0.06.

The September 5 "Collision" featured Andrade El Idolo defending his AEW National Championship against Gabe Kidd, followed by the luchador declaring he would defend the title every week while waiting for the right moment to secure his guaranteed shot at the AEW World Championship. The show was also notable for featuring the in-ring debut of the Motor City Machine Guns, with Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin picking up a victory over Blake Christian and Lee Johnson of The Swirl.
