Report: WWE Potentially Targeting Perth For 'Big Four' PLE In Next Three Years

Before the curtain falls on 2026 as a calendar year, WWE will be traveling back down under as Perth, Australia will host WWE WrestlePalooza 2026 on December 12 at the RAC Arena. On top of getting another Premium Live Event, the December 11 episode of "WWE SmackDown" and December 14 episode of "WWE Raw" will also take place at the same venue as part of WWE's expanded partnership with Tourism Western Australia through the Western Australian Government. Perth will host more WWE events in the future, and potentially one major Premium Live Event.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, a WWE source confirmed that Perth will more than likely get Premium Live Event every year over the next three years through this partnership, with episodes of "SmackDown" and "Raw" bookending the weekends to make them "destination weekends." On top of this, while nothing has been set in stone for 2027's trip to Western Australia, 2028 could see one of the "big four" PLE's take a trip down under for the first time ever. The WWE source claimed that both Survivor Series and even the Royal Rumble have been discussed internally as potential options for that year.

Perth has already played host to two WWE Premium Live Events in recent years. In 2024, the Optus Stadium (also known as the Perth Stadium) played host to that year's Elimination Chamber event which saw Rhea Ripley headline the card in a WWE Women's World Championship match against Nia Jax. The following year saw Crown Jewel take place outside of Saudi Arabia for the first time, with the RAC Arena itself playing host to that event, as well as the October 10 episode of "SmackDown" and the October 13 episode of "Raw." That weekend saw John Cena's final match with AJ Styles, Seth Rollins defeat Cody Rhodes for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship, and Rollins being kicked out of The Vision by Bron Breakker on "Raw."
