Dominik Mysterio Excited For Sister's WWE Journey

Aalyah Mysterio, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, has joined the Performance Center, and her brother and WWE star Dominik Mysterio has welcomed the move.

Aalyah, who has previously appeared on WWE television and even come face-to-face with her brother, is training to become a wrestler like many members of the Mysterio family. In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Dominik expressed excitement at seeing his sister train to become a wrestler and said that he was surprised she went down that route.

"I think she's already there [at the Performance Center]. I think that's awesome. You know, I, I keep saying she was definitely the — she is the smart one in the family. [The] Only one with a degree. So, it was definitely out of, like, left field for her to want to be in this industry," he said. 

Dominik also had a bit of advice for his sister, urging her to choose him instead of joining forces with their father, Rey.

"But hey, at the end of the day, there are currently two Mysterios in the WWE. So, there's a right path, and then there's the other path. So, choose wisely, counselor. I mean, one of them is on his way out and the other one is taking over. So, again, choose wisely, counselor," said Dominik. 

Aalyah first started training in WWE and at the Performance Center in 2025, and was confirmed to be a part of "WWE NXT's" newest recruits a few weeks ago. Reports from August claimed that the newest Mysterio in the pro wrestling business had been added to WWE's internal roster. Rey Mysterio recently commented on his daughter's training, stating that she's getting to grips with wrestling quickly, and said that she's enjoying being a part of the business.
