AEW's Anthony Bowens Provides One-Word Answer On Whether The Acclaimed Will Reunite
Amid news of their AEW contracts reportedly set to expire soon, Anthony Bowens has offered a simple, one-word answer as to whether or not he'll ever reunite with former tag team partner, Max Caster. Bowens and Caster were known as The Acclaimed, but the once-popular tag team broke up early last year.
When a fan asked Bowens if The Acclaimed would ever reunite on X (formerly Twitter), Bowens quoted the post and simply responded "no." The team did briefly reunite this year, after their breakup, to team together at a House of Glory show in March, before facing off against one another, then calling a truce, at WrestlePro's 10th anniversary show in April.

According to Fightful Select on Wednesday, both Caster and Bowens' AEW contracts are set to expire at the beginning of October and there is no word on if either star is negotiating a new deal, or if they've even been offered one. Since their breakup as a team, Bowens has joined The Opps alongside Samoa Joe, Hook, Katsuyori Shibata, and Action Andretti, but Caster hasn't been featured on AEW television much at all.
Caster's last match in the company took place in December 2025 when he competed in the "Dynamite" diamond ring battle royal. He's been active on the independent scene, wrestling most recently for Beyond Wrestling in July. Bowens wrestled alongside Hook, Shibata, and Andretti on the AEW All In London Buy-In show at the end of August.
Bowens and Caster held the AEW World Tag Team Championships once for a reign totaling 140 days. They also held the AEW World Trios Championships alongside Billy Gunn for a 238 day run.
