WWE's Roman Reigns: 'If You're In The Ring With Me, Your Value's Going Up'

Roman Reigns has been at the pinnacle of WWE — and some would say pro wrestling as a whole — over the last few years, and he feels that his success rubs off on those who step into the ring with him.

Reigns' evolution in WWE has been nothing short of remarkable, and his growth has also seen others he has feuded with rise, including the likes of Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes, and The Usos. In an interview with "Complex," Reigns said that other wrestlers can learn from him by sharing the ring with him.

"I do think with where I'm at, there is a responsibility to try to tap into the future. Give them time to tap into my experience and my mindset and what makes me tick and what allows me to be successful," said the World Heavyweight Champion.

Reigns added that he is keen to develop new stars who can take the mantle from him and thinks that anyone who steps into the ring with him will only grow their stock in the pro wrestling business.

"It's one thing to have a match with me. It's another to be the guy that we're working towards to transition from me, or to use my equity to then put a rocket on that guy's back," Reigns remarked. "If you're in the ring with me, your value's going up. It sounds arrogant, but I don't mean it that way. I just mean that if you get in the ring with me, you're gonna get the very best Roman Reigns."

"The Original Tribal Chief" thinks that he can help elevate those stars who have something special in them. Reigns asserted that because some of the big names in WWE don't really share locker rooms with other stars due to the tour bus culture, wrestlers aren't able to learn from stars like him, which he was able to do when he was developing in the business.
