Former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and his wife, Brandi, welcomed their second daughter into the world in August 2025, a shock to many fans, as no one realized the couple was expecting again. While they often share photos of their children on social media, Rhodes and his wife don't offer too many deep details into their lives.

Rhodes, however, revealed in an interview with Fandango, alongside some of his "Street Fighter" cast members, that he missed daughter Leilani's birth, as he was on set. One cast member said they had all sacrificed a lot, with Rhodes perhaps missing the most.

"Let me describe to you where I was. I was laying in a body, a pool, multiple men just laying on one another," Rhodes said, setting the scene. "We had been taken out by Bison's crew and this was a big moment for Karina and we were trying to be real serious and quiet, as they all got their lines... I looked down at my phone and my child had been born."

Rhodes joked that he underplayed it a bit, and he was still whispering as if some of their previous joking hadn't already ruined the take. He said they smoked a nice cigar on set after learning Leilani had entered the world.

The couple's first daughter, Liberty, arrived in June 2021, while Rhodes and Brandi were still with AEW. The couple were married in September 2013 after meeting in WWE, when Brandi worked as a ring announcer and Rhodes was a member of the "WWE SmackDown" roster.
