It was an emotionally charged moment in Lex Luger's career, when the decorated veteran got out of his wheelchair, walked towards the podium, and accepted his WWE Hall of Fame Induction in 2025 even though it was an impromptu decision. The former two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion recounted his original plan of wanting to walk further than just up towards the podium; however, an accident the day before derailed his plans.

"[It] wasn't the way it was supposed to go...But yeah, I did get up. So, that was a miracle of God right there because I had fallen the day before. So, I was in, yeah, in real bad shape," the Hall of Famer said in his interview on "Going Ringside." "I was going to walk out. I was going to come out in the chair, and walk the rest of the way. But we couldn't do it, because I had fallen out of an Uber car the day before at the Atlanta airport on the cement."

In 2007, Luger suffered a nerve impingement in his neck that caused a paralysis. Seven years later, in 2014, Luger was using a wheelchair on a regular basis. With the help of a good friend and great motivator in Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page, Luger was able to stand up from out of his wheelchair in 2025. Two months later, he showed the world that miraculous stride once again at his Hall of Fame Induction.
