WWE Unwavering On WrestleMania Plans Despite Conflict In The Middle East

There has been a lot of discussion of late about WWE WrestleMania 43 amongst people who are concerned about the show taking place in Saudi Arabia. This is due to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East that recently reached a point to where the U.S Department of State advised American citizens not to travel to the Saudi capital of Riyadh amidst fears of potential Iranian attacks. There have also been been concerns about WWE traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event on November 7, with a contingency plan being put in place in case Crown Jewel needs to be moved outside of Saudi Arabia.

As far as WrestleMania 43 is concerned, it is reportedly still full steam head. According to Fightful Select who spoke to sources close to the goings-on in Saudi Arabia, those in the country want to make WrestleMania 43 as big as possible, and Saudi representatives visited WWE headquarters a few weeks ago to commence meetings for the show.

No date has been announced as of yet for WrestleMania 43, but the Saudi sources told Fightful Select that they hope the date will be announced very soon, with several independent promotions also awaiting the date reveal to see if any other promotions take advantage of the show taking place outside of North America. The reason why it hasn't been announced at the time of writing is reportedly due to WrestleMania being in conjunction with Saudi Arabia, and the upcoming Crown Jewel event could be a potential reveal day. 

When it comes to Crown Jewel, the Riyadh Seasonal Stadium where the show will be held will be built specifically for the event, and site building for Crown Jewel will reportedly start this week according to Saudi sources.
