Former WWE Star Kairi Announced For Chris Jericho's Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea
Less than a month remains before Chris Jericho's Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea hits the waves once again. And when it does so, it will feature a former WWE star that will have one or two fans raising their eyebrows regarding their potential future with AEW. On Thursday, the website for the Jericho Cruise revealed that Kairi would be part of the ship's lineup, joining TNA stars The Hardys, Elayna Black, AJ Francis, and Indi Hartwell, AEW stars The New Level, Harley Cameron, and Luther, and several other notable wrestling names.
Kairi's involvement in the cruise will likely lead to more speculation that the former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion could be AEW bound, though as noted there are plenty of non-AEW names associated with the voyage. Reports have tied Kairi and AEW over the last few months, even going as far to suggest that the two sides were in negotiations in September. Despite that, no word has emerged regarding Kairi and AEW reaching an agreement.
Another sign that something could be in the waters regarding Kairi and AEW is the fact that AEW is planning to bring TV back to the Jericho Cruise. The promotion will tape their November 7 episode of "Collision" on the cruise, the first time AEW has held a TV taping on the Rock N Wrestling Rager since the winter of 2020. It will be the first episode of "Collision" to follow AEW Blood & Guts, which is scheduled to take place on November 4 out of AEW's home base of Jacksonville, Florida.
