WWE's next trip to Saudi Arabia is rapidly approaching as WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is set to take place at the Riyadh Seasonal Stadium in the Saudi capital on November 7, but while the Premium Live Event is still concrete in the WWE calendar, whether it takes place in Saudi Arabia is still be discussed internally.

According to Bryan Alvarez of Figure Four Weekly, as of Thursday, October 8, there were a number of conversations had within WWE about whether the company should actually travel to Saudi Arabia next month. These talks came after Reuters reported that the Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi Forces claimed to have attacked King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, damaging a Saudia Airlines plane, as well as targeting the country's airspace, oil facilities, and energy plants, to the point where the Houthi Forces warned workers to not go to those plants. Three people have been killed in these attacks during these missile strikes, and these recent attacks don't seem to be slowing down.

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh had already issued a statement to American citizens earlier this week, stating that all Americans currently in the country should be extra vigilant, and that they could be hit with potential travel disruptions, flight cancellations, and even certain airspaces being completely closed. The U.S Department of State had already issued a warning in September to Americans advising them to not travel to Saudi Arabia at all amidst all of the escalating conflict.

WWE will reportedly not lose any money if the event does need to be moved to a different country, but construction on the Riyadh Seasonal Stadium has already started in preparation for the event on November 7. Despite the conflicts in the Middle East, WWE is still set on traveling to the Saudi kingdom for WWE WrestleMania 43, which is set to take place in April of next year, though no date has been officially announced.
