Austin Creed and Kofi seem to be planning to stay in AEW for the long run as new details emerge about the length of their contracts.

Creed and Kofi debuted in AEW at All In and got off to a strong start, winning the Trios Championship alongside Swerve Strickland. A few weeks into their AEW run, "Fightful Select" reported that the duo had signed five-year deals with Tony Khan's promotion.

Strickland reportedly played a significant role in bringing them to AEW, with Khan initially reluctant to approach the celebrated tag team duo while they were still under contract with WWE. Teaming with Strickland was also one of the first ideas that they were pitched before their AEW debut. The trio, who lost the Trios Championship to "Hangman" Adam Page and Brodido at the recent WrestleDream pay-per-view, weren't scheduled to hold the titles for long, as per the same report.

It's well known that Khan doesn't skimp on purchasing music rights for his wrestlers' entrances, despite the high costs. He did the same for The New Level, who used A$AP Ferg's "New Level" as their entrance theme, with the aforementioned report stating that the song was approved on the day of All In. The report claimed that the delay was due to waiting for approval from Sony, which owns RCA Records, the label that released the song. Creed had revealed in an interview that they had less than a week to secure the rights to use the song, and had to speak to someone who knew A$AP Ferg's manager to get the deal over the line.
