WWE's Alexa Bliss Comments On Being Part Of Wyatt-Themed Halloween Horror Nights
WWE star Alexa Bliss and the late Bray Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, had a unique partnership, with Bliss turning "dark" to join up with Wyatt in 2020. Wyatt's creative mind was vast, and following his 2023 passing, his visions came together not just in WWE's Wyatt Sicks faction, but also in a haunted house at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.
On "A Shot of Brandi," Bliss spoke about getting to participate as a scare actor in the house for a few hours. She said getting to experience it was "heavy," as Wyatt always said he wanted a house at the event.
"To see it happen was so cool, but it was so bittersweet knowing that he would never see it," Bliss said. "The first time I walked through, it [felt] like someone hit you in the gut."
Bliss explained getting to work in the house meant so much to her. She and Wyatt were supposed to team back up in the years following their breakup at WrestleMania 37, but were never able to, due to her pregnancy, and Wyatt getting sick.
"I got to do the Firefly Funhouse scene, where I was next to the TV that was just playing Windham over and over and it was so cool to be a part of that again, but also so heartbreaking after I did it," Bliss said. "I think that was one of the first times that it hit me that he was actually gone, and so it was so cool... that Universal let me do that, because I feel like, 'This is me saying goodbye. This is me going back to where it started and me saying goodbye,'"
