Nikki Bella Comments On Not Knowing Which Night Of WWE WrestleMania 42 She's On

As it stands, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns is the only match with a confirmed slot on the WWE WrestleMania 42 card, specifically in the night two main event. Meanwhile, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton is the presumed headliner for night one, but like the majority of WrestleMania bouts, its exact position has yet to be made official.

On "The Nikki & Brie Show," WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella expressed her eagerness to know which night of "The Shows of Shows" she will perform on this year, with multiple reasons cited as to why. "Well, I was telling [WWE officials], I go, 'I want to know what night we're competing,' because I feel like they need to start letting superstars tell people what night they're competing because I think it helps fans who don't want to buy two nights and can only have one night. Let them buy that one night. Prep it. Let them get ready," Nikki said.

"I'm such a prepper. I need to know, am I going in my hotel Friday to Sunday? Am I going to do Saturday to Monday? Let me know the vibes. I'm not gonna say anything. 'Potentially,' we were told on Friday, but they're like, 'But I don't know.' So tonight I'm going to be bugging saying, 'Let me know so I can announce it.' I want to tell my Bella Army, so if my Bella Army can only afford one night, better be my night."

Following Brie Bella's return in the 2026 Women's Royal Rumble, the Bella Twins together announced their intention to pursue the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. Earlier this week, WWE announced that The Bella Twins will indeed have a chance to capture them when they, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria challenge the reigning champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, in a four-way match for the titles at WrestleMania, which takes place in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19.

Opinion: WWE Should Follow Nikki Bella's Direction

With WrestleMania 42 just now two weeks away and ticket sales for the event still falling short of internal expectations, WWE would be wise to follow Nikki Bella's direction.

At this point, every ticket sale matters, or least should matter, to WWE. According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WrestleMania 42 is down 18.8 percent in ticket distribution when compared to the same moment in time ahead of last year's big event.

In recent weeks, WWE officials have attempted to close the gap and boost ticket sales by providing various discounts (first at 25%, then 31.6%, and now, by excluding fees) for prospective buyers. They've also knighted 17-time world champion John Cena as the guest host for "The Show of Shows," setting the stage for his first post-retirement appearance in the company. Still, tickets sales are nearly a fifth behind in comparison to last year's event from the same exact venue.

Much of this problem could have likely been prevented by setting tickets at more affordable prices to begin with. But with us now being past the point of no return, something as simple as clarifying which matches are on which night of WrestleMania could actually make a difference.

I personally know a number of prospective buyers that are delaying their ticket purchase until they are certain as to which night their favorite superstar (such as Nikki Bella) is competing on. After all, not everyone can afford to attend both nights of the action, so some fans prioritize one over the other to at least see the star they cherish most. Similarly, some fans prioritize one over the other based on which they perceive to have the overall better match lineup. It's those somes that WWE should be focusing on right now if they wish to further increase sales, because at this marker of time, I'd take what I could get.
