Lil Yachty To Make WWE In-Ring Debut At Sunday Night's Main Event
Lil Yachty is making his in-ring debut at Sunday Night's Main Event after accepting Baron Corbin's challenge on "WWE SmackDown."
Yachty accompanied Trick Williams to the ring while Williams demanded Corbin come to the ring and give him the US title. The champ came out on his motorcycle, but without the title because it was "getting a haircut." Williams demanded a title shot tonight, but Corbin refused because he already had one. Yachty hit Corbin in the back twice with a kendo stick.
Corbin then made Williams an offer. He will give him another shot at the title on one condition. He wants five minutes in the ring with Yachty. If Yachty can survive a full five minutes, he'll give Williams the title shot. If not, they're done for good. Williams and Yachty were surprised and took a minute to decide. Yachty grabbed the mic from Williams and yelled that he accepted.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Yachty has been training at the Performance Center. Sunday Night's Main Event will take place on September 6 in Atlanta, Georgia. Cody Rhodes will go one-on–one with Randy Orton in a grudge match. Bron Breakker will face Oba Femi after Paul Heyman brokered a match with Adam Pearce.
