Former WWE Star Mandy Rose Says TNA's Elayna Black Is Like A 'Little Sister' To Her

Mandy Rose has forged a close bond with TNA's rising stars Elayna Black, so much so that she now likens Black to being a sibling-figure to her.

According to Rose, their friendship naturally formed as they worked alongside one another in their former home of WWE. Black's departure from the promotion in 2025 then brought them even closer together, with the Chicago native personally reaching out to Rose for guidance after developing a gut feeling.

"She was just on it from the get-go when she had a feeling that she was getting fired," Rose recalled on "TMZ's Inside The Ring." "She called me prior, a week before, and she was right. I literally had the phone call set up for her. I called my team. I said, 'Listen, this is who she is, blah blah blah,' and they connected right afterwards. The rest is history. She's done an incredible job. I think that's awesome that she looks up to me like that because we also had a lot of fun working with each other too. I always called her 'little girl,' so it's kind of full circle. She really is like my little sister."

Following her exit from WWE, Black returned to the independent wrestling circuit, and in January 2026, announced her signing with TNA as well. Outside of wrestling, Black launched an adult content account as an extra stream of income, a move that Rose herself made prior to her own WWE departure in 2022. Rose considers it a smart one, especially for those with an already built-in following.

"I feel like you need to work with what you have. She's a perfect example of someone who has done that," Rose said in reference to Black. "I got her with my management team right away. She wasted no time."
