WWE's Jacy Jayne Shares How She's Feeling Ahead Of Her First Money In The Bank Match
It's a good time to be Jacy Jayne right now, as the Fatal Influence leader is not only WWE Women's United States Champion but is set to wrestle in her first Women's Money in the Bank match this Saturday at Money in the Bank. Given that this is her first time in a ladder match, however, Jayne has no issue admitting that she's got a few butterflies, something she did in a recent interview with "Denise Salcedo."
"I'm excited, I'm anxious," Jayne said. "I'm a little nervous, because [as] I told you before I am not a heights girly. I don't really like heights. So I'm just going to woosaw, my adrenaline's going to kick in, it's going to be good, but I am a little nervous."
When discussing where the nerves were coming from, Jayne attributed them to all the downtime she has prior to the match this weekend, leading to her overthinking certain scenarios. Ultimately, she feels she will be fine once she gets into the ring.
"I think it's more so you're thinking about it and you're like 'Oh god, this could go wrong or that could go wrong, or what if this happens,'" Jayne said. "It's more of just, like, the waiting and the anxiety that comes with that, that's what makes me nervous. But once I'm out there, once I'm in the ring, I'm good. I'm indestructible once I'm out there."
Jayne won't be the only Money in the Bank rookie in the match, as Lash Legend, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, and Lash Legend will also be competing in the match for the first time. That leaves Roxanne Perez and Jayne's rival Tiffany Stratton as the two MITB veterans, with Perez having competed in last year's Women's Money in the Bank match, while Stratton won the 2024 edition of the match, successfully cashing in her contract to become WWE Women's Champion in early 2025.
