Update On Contract Status Of Sheamus, Kairi Sane & Dani Luna Ahead Of AEW All Out

With AEW All Out on the horizon, speculation as to who or who might not show up as a surprise there has been running wild.

One of the names most talked about is Sheamus, who is set to leave WWE after nearly two decades with the company. According to Fightful Select, Sheamus' appearance at AEW All Out is unlikely as he is still technically under contract with WWE until next week. The outlet previously reported that "The Celtic Warrior" would become a free agent on October 1, five days after the All Out pay-per-view.

Whether conversations between Sheamus and AEW have unfolded in the meantime is unknown. WWE officials were said to have approached the former world champion with a restructured contract offer, which he swiftly turned down.

In her case, former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane is already a free agent, having been caught in a massive wave of releases back in April 2026. Earlier this month, reports indicated that Sane and AEW were in active discussions about potentially bringing "The Pirate Princess" to the Tony Khan-led company. Fightful Select has since noted that, as of Friday, Sane has not inked a contract with AEW nor is she planned for All Out on September 26. If a deal is made soon, however, it is expected to be a dual-contract of some sort.

Sane has extensive history with STARDOM and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, both of which remain partners with AEW. Her last STARDOM date pitted her, Mayu Iwatani, and Nanae Takahashi against STARS (Hazuki, Koguma and Saya Iida) in October 2023.

Another name in the spotlight is former Knockouts Tag Team Champion Dani Luna, who asked for and received her release from TNA Wrestling in the spring of 2026.

Since leaving TNA, Luna has returned to the independent wrestling scenes in the United Kingdom and Canada. Fightful Select now reports that she's also joined All Elite Wrestling, with her corresponding debut coming "fairly soon." She is said to have reached an agreement with AEW over a month ago.

The outlet did not specify whether Luna is expected to make an appearance at AEW All Out. Fans have naturally raised Luna as a potential opponent for TBS Champion Persephone, who is set to host an open challenge for the title at the upcoming pay-per-view. Mara Sade, who also reportedly signed with AEW after leaving TNA, is another possible candidate to face Persephone.

During her time in TNA, Luna became a two-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champion alongside Jody Threat. Together, they were known in Spitfire.

Following the team's separation, Luna pivoted her focus to singles competition, where she quickly elevated herself into the Knockouts World Championship scene. One of her last TNA matches saw her challenge Arianna Grace for the KO World Title in a triple threat also involving Lei Ying Lee at TNA Sacrifice on March 27. 

In June, the UK standout began working for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, which now airs its weekly content on the MyAEW streaming platform.
