AEW WrestleDream 2026 Full & Final Card
The time has arrived for the fourth-annual AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view, with the 2026 instalment taking place on October 17 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. The venue has previously hosted AEW Revolution 2022 and AEW Worlds End 2024, but WrestleDream 2026 could turn out to be the most eventful show the fans in Orlando have ever seen. A total of ten matches have been signed, with seven of those having championships on the line, so let's take a look at the full and final card for AEW WrestleDream 2026.
The match that has everyone talking is the first-ever Clockwork Carnage match for the AEW World Championship. Eight performers will compete in a match devised by AEW President Tony Khan and AEW World Champion Will Ospreay, all with the goal of leaving Orlando with the gold in hand. Two wrestlers will start, and every three minutes another man will enter the match until all eight wrestlers have arrived. If a wrestler is pinned before the final entrant arrives, they are eliminated and won't advance to the next stage.
Once the final entrant has arrived, the remaining participants will have 15 minutes to earn as many falls as possible. The man with the most falls at the end of the match will be declared the winner and the AEW World Champion. Ospreay will have to deal with current AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada, current AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin, Konosuke Takeshita, Ricochet, "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Samoa Joe, and Adam Copeland, all of whom will be hoping to end the night with the richest prize in All Elite Wrestling around their waists.
As for the other world championship, AEW Women's World Champion Mercedes Mone will look make her second defense of her crown when she takes on Thekla. "The Toxic Spider" earned her shot by defeating Willow Nightingale at AEW All Out 2026, an event that Mone missed due to suffering a broken nose. Now that she's cleared and already back in action, she will be looking to put an end to Thekla once and for all.
The Other Championship Matches
Elsewhere on the WrestleDream card, the AEW World Trios Championships will be at stake in a Two-out-of-Three Falls match, where Swerve Strickland and The New Level will take on Hangman Page and Brodido. Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed defeated Page, Bandido, and Brody King at All Out, but the personal animosity between Strickland and Page has led to a rematch where each team will need two wins rather than one. The key to victory might be getting Strickland and Page composed before anything goes off the rails.
The AEW World Tag Team Championships will be on the line as The Young Bucks defend against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight of The Don Callis Family. Fletcher and Knight earned their shot at All Out when their match with Steven Borden and Darby Allin was stopped due to Borden suffering a concussion, but regardless of how they got their opportunity, Fletcher and Knight are looking to bring more gold back to Don Callis at the expense of Matt and Nick Jackson.
Mark Davis will also be looking to do Don Callis proud as he challenges Jon Moxley for the AEW Continental Championship. Moxley and the Death Riders have been through a lot these past few weeks following the passing of Pac right after All Out, to the point where Moxley admitted that he is in pain in more ways than one. However, he knows the only way out is through, and he will hope to make Pac proud by vanquishing "Dunkzilla" this Saturday.
Speaking of Pac, the last man to wrestle him before his untimely death was Andrade El Idolo, and the "Real Latino Man" will once again be in action this Saturday as he defends his AEW National Championship against Tommaso Ciampa. The "Psycho Killer" has been on a quest for gold ever since losing the AEW TNT Championship earlier this year, and after Andrade issued an open challenge, Ciampa is looking to find himself with gold once again.
Anything could happen in the AEW TBS Championship match as Persephone will have three different challengers. She defends her crown against Queen Aminata, Hyan, and Dani Luna in a four-way match, and despite holding victories over Luna and Hyan as of late, Persephone will have the deck stacked against her this Saturday. Had the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship match between The Brawling Birds and Wrathlander not been postponed due to Jamie Hayter's injury, every champion in AEW would have been in action at WrestleDream.
The Non-Title Matches
Rounding out the main card will be the rubber match between Nick Wayne and Chris Jericho. "The Prodigy" made it very clear on "AEW Collision" this past Wednesday that he did in fact beat Jericho in Paris, but since Jericho had already beaten Wayne before that, he proposed a rematch that Wayne was more than happy to accept just so he could boast about beating Jericho twice. If that does happen, Jericho must apologize to Wayne for disrespecting him over the past few weeks.
On the Tailgate Brawl pre-show, two matches have been signed, and one of them will kick off a best-of-five series between two of the most influential tag teams of their respective generations. FTR will take on The Motor City Machine Guns in a first-time ever dream match to start their series, with both teams looking at becoming number one contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championships by the end of it. Finally, two teams that have been at each other's throats in AEW for a number of months collide as The Sisters of Sin take on Divine Dominion in a tag team match to complete the WrestleDream card.
The card is subject to change and more matches could potentially be announced closer to show time.
