WWE plans its marquee event, WrestleMania, well in advance, and it appears the company has begun preparing for next year's WrestleMania 43.

Next year's WrestleMania will be held in Saudi Arabia, and according to "Fightful Select," WWE has earmarked a clash between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and 2026 King of the Ring winner Oba Femi for the show. The report added that some sources they spoke to believe that the match could main event the show.

As expected, former world champions Cody Rhodes and CM Punk will play important roles at the show, according to the report. A source also suggested that the two could face off again in a rematch of their SummerSlam match. Rhea Ripley — currently out with an injury — is also expected to play a part in it.

Reports from earlier in the year had claimed that the Saudi Arabia organizers want to see The Rock at the event, who last wrestled in WWE back in 2024 at WrestleMania 40. WWE is keen to host the show in Saudi Arabia, marking the first time its biggest PLE will take place in the country, despite the ongoing conflict involving the Houthis. Reports have highlighted WWE's firm stance on holding both WrestleMania, which is still several months away, and Crown Jewel, scheduled for November, in Saudi Arabia.

At the time of publication, WWE has yet to announce a date for WrestleMania 43, which is reportedly not a priority for the promotion at the moment.
