Experience
Tamaya began writing about pro wrestling as a student, exploring wrestling's relationships with 19th-century and contemporary culture. Though she initially intended to complete a doctoral program with a focus on pro wrestling, her premature departure from academia shifted her focus to writing for pro wrestling media. She has written articles for Fightful Magazine and is currently a contributing writer for Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
Education
Tamaya earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in English Literature from the "Harvard of Muncie," Ball State University.
