  • Wesley's first attended wrestling event was New Year's Revolution in 2007, and his favorite attended events were monthly NXT house shows in Florida when he lived there in 2018-2019.
  • Once, prior to an impromptu and very nervous handshake with WWE's Sheamus, Wesley's girlfriend (now wife) asked him, "Who's that weird guy walking around with a WWE title belt?"
  • Wesley is a credentialed media member with the NFL, but has yet to become credentialed with the WWE due to a fear of being Pedigree'd.

Experience

Wesley has been a professional writer since 2015. He started Chiefs Wire for USA TODAY Sports Media Group in 2016, served as editor until 2018 and has since remained as a staff writer. Today, Wesley is also an editor for Gambling.com Group and a writer for Static Media's Wrestling Inc. brand. Wesley joined WINC in July 2022, finally turning his three decades of wrestling fandom and expertise into in-depth features.

Education

Wesley earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2015 and is currently working on his Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
