- The first live wrestling show Martin attended was in 2008 and was a double TV taping of Smackdown in Manchester, England. The main event was Jeff Hardy vs The Undertaker in an Extreme Rules match.
- During his teenage years Martin used to be a moderator on the old ProWrestlingScoop forums from 08-13 and also during that time he used to write weekly fantasy wrestling shows for the website.

Martin has been a dedicated sports writer for a number of years and has been a live event correspondent covering weekly wrestling events like WWE, AEW and Impact Wrestling since 2019. Martin has contributed to a number of sports websites over the years, including WrestlingINC, Ringside News, The Sportster and Last Word on Sports. His work has included news articles, list articles, full essays, previews for future shows, and has been a part of roundtable discussions. He's also written articles detailing the ins and outs of DC Comics and Marvel, as well as a number of movies and TV shows.
Education
Martin has a master's degree in Psychology from the University of Bolton and a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of Salford. Martin also has A-Levels in Information Technology, Graphic Design and Photography.
